The reagent effectively inhibits magnesium-silicate minerals like serpentine (talc) in Cu-Ni ore, improves the separation efficiency of Cu-Ni minerals from magnesium-silicate minerals, avoids the sliming interference of the latter and raises concentrate grade and recovery rate. At the same time, it increases the floating velocity of target minerals, shortens the industrial flotation time and reduces production cost.
